WING OF A DOVE
As heaven's wind echoes through the air, the time has come for us to share, our thoughts and endless love we send to him on a wing of a dove. Lord, seek us out and help us to understand, why you took him home in your caring hands. We know you must have needed him, but so did we. What would be the reason, help us to see. We look to the heavens, we know he is near, with our hearts full of love, and our eyes full of tears. We remember his time on earth, and thank you every day. But you needed him with you, so you took him away. We know, Lord, with your promise, we will be together once more, so on a wing of a dove, we will meet him at your door. We send him our love, so have him wait for us there,and be with us, dear Lord, and surround us in your care.
